HISTORY OF THE CLUB
Originally founded in1937 as the “OWL’S HEAD ROD AND GUN CLUB” and later changed to the “CAPTAIN KIDD ROD & GUN CLUB” in 1954 when the club was relocated on property donated by Lewis Millar.

Shooting clays while overlooking the waters of East Chester is an enjoyable event we do on a monthly basis.
We have an inside range which we are in the process of expanding to 25 yards where we practice shooting .22 cal rifle and handgun, we also utilize this range on a friendly ritual of bow shooting every Wednesday night.
The club offers a licensed lounge area where club members can relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean or the nice warmth from the fireplace during the cold of winter.
