Barry, formerly of Cape Breton, is an experienced big game hunter, having success in Moose, Deer, and Bear, with rifle, shotgun, and bow. Combined with his passion for small game hunting, Barry has extensive experience with Ground Search and Rescue, Interpretation of Aerial Photography, Orientation, Woodlot Management, and Outdoor Survival. Graduate of Maritime Forest Ranger School, class of 1994, and former employee of DNR, currently working as an Investigator with Forensic Investigations Canada in Halifax, Barry remains an active hunter and conservationist. Barry will supply columns and editorials on various wildlife issues affecting both big game and small game alike. Barry resides in Lower Sackville, NS with his wife Tracey, daughter McKenzie and son Aiden. Barry has almost 20 years of experience having successfully hunted in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

Blake has been hunting Nova Scotia's woods for 23 years. His favorite pursuits are whitetails and black bear, having taken both with rifle and bow. His compound bow is his weapon of choice, but he still loves to grab his .308 occasionally and sneak along a deer trail. He was directly involved with the creation and development of novascotiahunting.com and has been moderating the site since 2003. Dave is founder/owner of NovaScotiaHunting.com. Dave created NovaScotiaHunting.com in response to the demand created by hunters who were members of NovaScotiaFishing.com. Shane has been hunting for 4 years but has been in the woods with his father for many more. He enjoys hunting for all species of game animals but more enjoys hunting for the big Canada geese and ducks and chasing pheasants, grouse and woodcock with his Britney pointer Duke. He has harvested deer and recently shot a Black bear with his bow. Shane is on the Canada Games Core team for Nova Scotia archery and enjoys teaching archery to youth and introducing the sport to newcomers. Shane is from Greenwood in Kings County.
