Yes I under stand as I am not a Ford guy. They had some real issues over the years for rust. This is a 67. I believe shortly after that they were all dipped in salt.

Been thinking of hunting one of these little trucks down for a restomod project. 67-72 shorty is my choice also. My uncle has a 69 long bed that my grandfather bought new. Was a 302 3sd on the tree. Changed to auto during a frame off restoration a few years ago. Nice little truck ts. 2003 -2011 crown Vic front sub frame and a Late 90s explorer rear end slung over the rear springs would give it a nice street rod stance.

Looks really good, my first vehicle was a 67 Mercury truck, 352 4spd 4x4 step side box.

Had a lot of fun with that truck.

Still the original 352 installed with 3 speed on the column. It will be hard to see stuff around 52 years from now with the junk metal we have.

There is a guy here that has a 69 bronco that he bought new

The truck is mint and looks like it should be in a show room in 69

He laughs and says yes if I ever took it out in rain or didnot store it in a heated garage I would have to keep it in a barrel of oil to keep rust from forming :)

    Take care

That's the truck for big bucks. Had to replace the box floor from all the hauling.
