So as you all know the Outdoor Sport and RV show is coming fast, March 12 to 14. Well I just got confirmation that we (Scotian Bowmen archery club) are donating a brand new Bowtech Razor Edge as a free door prize for the show. Regardless of the winner almost, they will be able to shoot this bow, 30lbs to 60 lbs and extremely adjustable in draw length. The specs say 308 IBO, 10 years ago that would have been top of the line in speed, so it will be a great prize for someone.

I hope you all come out and enjoy the show, and stop by our shooting setup and let a few arrow fly (bring your children and grandchildren too, we love getting the kids hooked on archery), we are in the same spot every year ;)

Not sure, I think they usually have a big drum in the main arena. Ask when you get there, I'm sure the folks at the front door will know where it is. The bow will be lumped in with the many other great prizes they give away. I have to chat with Darwin about it but I'm hoping we can display the bow at our booth for the show and hand it over to the winner when the draw is made.

My wife got a Razor's edge bow last year, nice bow and easy to shoot. Someone will be happy with it for sure. Looking forward to the show, my little fella, Aidan, spent about 2 hours at the kids casting display you had last year!

See you there!

Looking forward to the show, but I wish they'd raise the bar on who they allow to exhibit. I guess you could make the argument that some outdoor sportsmen are interested in learning about retirement planning or funeral planning or security systems, but that sure as heck ain't why I make the treak out to Prospect Rd! I count 119 exhibitors and several dozen with little or nothing to do with outdoor sports. I guess it all comes down to selling booth space.

Been saving up for a new toy. Money's burning a hole in my pocket. Hope someone's got some good deals going!

I'll be there for work (with the RV stuff), but will definitely be taking in all the hunting stuff on my "free" time! :)
