For those of you who may not be aware, the historic Black River Community Centre was tragically destroyed by fire last night. Here is the link to the article in the Herald today:

This area is home to Perry Munro, member extrodinaire, so I thought it would be fitting to suggest that should the community decide to re-build, that we rally together and form a volunteer group to assist in any way possible.
I'm just thinking out-loud at this point but wanted to plant the bug.
Thoughts?

I teach in the community (Gaspereau) and tonight at parent /teacher meetings several people including a staff member who lives near by commented on the loss to the area. As I understand it this small building was very active and used for many things in the community. It certainly will be missed.
If anyone gets something going I absolutely will be there!

Sounds like it was caused by an electric toilet, becoming plugged up and catching on fire.
