Pretty cool. I saw a black coyote a few years back...not full black...looked almost like a border collie....but was definitely a yote...caught me so off guard that I never got a shot at it as it knocked over my quiver critter and kept going....did get the female yote that was following it though...a regular colour one though.

The bobcat was on the news last night. Caught in NB. He checked his traps on Xmas day and found it. He's not sure what he's gonna do with it.....sell it....donate it to a museum.....I would be getting it mounted and it would be staying in my house and be passed down through the generations. You just don't come acrossed these everyday. Very unique indeed.

Research has shown that 1 in 5 Liberal supporters is "just as stupid" as the other 4!

A liberal is a lot like a slinkey........They both put a smile on your face when you push them down the stairs!

Melanism is well documented in isolated populations.  Think black squirrels in major cities, which are really melanistic grey squirrels, the black snakes on Georges Island and I have heard reports of populations of black voles and other small critters on eastern shore islands.

I believe there was an article about this is a past issue of CoNServation magazine previously published by NSDNR.

A really neat looking cat though!
