Cheers

We drove to Cheticamp last Thursday From Bridgewater, and we seen a lot of vehicles with fish boxes and moose racks on the back. A lot of nice racks. As warm as it was ... people were successful. Must be some moose around CB. A friend of mine got a nice bull around wreck cove, and I have another friend in the Hunter Mountain area right now for this weeks hunt... (I was supposed to be on that hunt ... long story). They went scouting yesterday, and gave a few cow calls and was immediately answered. Sounds like they might be successful.

Good to hear. If they are getting them they are not getting them cut up here. Way down in the area vs other years

Might just be a lot of mainland tags this year and going home in quarters

I hope to hear soon on here that walter got one

 Cheers

WE ARE TAGGED OUT !

Still packing things up , got nice young bull at 8:02 am this morning , had this fella following two cows kate yesterday evening around a bog , sure enough still there at daylight this morning , gave few calls and scraped the trees to try get him show himself thru the juniper and alders , guess once the two females showed out full frontal , he stepped out enough for 3/4 broad side shot , let's just say he didn't have chance to step back to thick cover , ranged him at 70yrds .

Later guys and gals still plenty to get done in this Damm rain

With a outfitter who works at DNR in N.B with my son , so far season they had has been 97% success rate , this originally was to be spring bear , but cancelled , hoping get nice color phase bear , plus made the trip to bring care pkg to my daughter and spend day with her today , before we hunt tomorrow.

Have great day guys and gals !

Sounds good. Nice to have that connection since most will also guide moose when you get lucky and land one of those out of province tags smile.png

A few of my friends go up  year ( i forget the outfitters name ) I will see if I can find the pics of their last NB bears

I went once in the spring in NB some years back and the flys did well on me sad.png

 Cheers

Found it. I thought they were small but I don't know much about bears
