Just posted on Nutz. Wonder where

Turkeys in my backyard
I live in rural Nova Scotia and for the last 4 weeks I have 8 turkeys roaming around my property, pooping on the deck, digging holes and so on. I am a target shooter and know nothing about hunting and the like. But I want to get rid of them.. what is "officially" the proper way? Shoot them? Got all the hardware required..
I am basically interested in the legal aspect of shooting on my land..thanks.

IMO someone close owns them

Like this guy that responded

Cheers

I live on the south shore and have turkeys, sometimes they wander, mainly in breeding season, but do come back. i would ask around and see if anyone close by have turkeys. they don't usually cause any major damage, and should run off when scared, they are very skittish. I do agree about the poop though lol.

My white coop turkeys in Mt Uniacke would spend all day on my neighbors deck on the top railing looking in their house. Yes and crapping all over the place.

Thanks to all on this site who assisted with my taxidermy season . I hope I am even busier next season and can continue to produce even better mounts.
