Take'em's 2021 Nature Photography

I hope everyone is enjoying their calendars!
It's my hope that everyone and their families are safe, healthy and happy to start off 2021 - we NEED a better year! My sincere thank you for taking an interest in and viewing my work. It's quite challenging capturing these images and I love sharing my work with those who truly appreciate it. I read every comment throughout the year and you fine folks drive me to go that extra mile and GET THE SHOT!
I'll begin my 2021 photography thread with some of my favorite subjects. Winter wood ducks are a rare find - they usually migrate quite early on the heels of the blue-winged teal. I took these images from a fair distance so they're heavily cropped thus reducing the amount of detail. With that said, the subjects themselves, the lighting, the colour and the calm mood make up for it...

Yes mom and I had to make a quick run this morning to Washabuck
Seen two deer going up and four on the way back
All were just beautiful in great condition
One thing I am seeing here and have never before in my life. Almost the end of january and they are not even yarding up so far but we have only had one big snow fall and that is 90% now gone

So many incredible photos ! Just awesome. >Pete
Deer zones in Nova Scotia need to be reduced in size and micro managed by DNR. Zone 107 is too big!! It needs to be cut in half with the Shubie River as a boundry. Areas on the Hant Co side should not be either sex but bucks only with a doe draw, in my opinion. >Pete
