Found this interesting. I read today up in the cold north the most popular rifle for the cold is the SKS followed by of all things the lever actions . That cannot be right

That is a nice rifle for a great price. I have also seen a 300 mag in that configuration for 750.00
A .270 was just posted on gun post but the price is 1250.00 plus shipping from Ontario. Beautiful rifle, but not going to bite at that price. Might be my only chance...but have other priorities before I bite that bullet. Being in the North, sleds are on my next buy list. You win some you lose some I guess.

Well....lol not buying an SKS, I find nothing interesting about those lol. I have 2 levers, 30-30 and a .35 both Marlin, both JM stamped if that means anything these days lol. Probably the only 2 levers I will ever own lol. Did like the BLR, but not enough to buy one.....yet:)

Not a sks fan either. BLR's are sweet just real expensive now to get a spare mag for if pre 81

That's because you can get em for 199 - 299 bucks...and a 1000 round case of ww2 ammo for another couple hundo.....breads 12 bucks a loaf and milk's 28 a gallon...I can only imagine what tomtookalook would be charging for an 300 WM Axis and a few boxes of ammo at his gun store Igloo !
