I've just obtained an unfinished 96 Mauser project . It has a Douglas barrel chambered in .257 Roberts installed . However , the caliber is not stamped on the firearm anywhere . Does anyone have a recommendation on who might do this for me . I live in the Annapolis Valley , but don't mind a drive now and again . Thanks .

Go to princess auto and buy a set of stamps and do it yourself?

Probably look like crap if I tried it . I'd rather have someone experienced do it .

Have any machinist friends or those that restore old cars and restamp engine blocks
Should not be a problem for them in fact you have two engine building legends not far from you
This would be 5 minutes for them
