Most have rotted out and have gone to scrap.
And the ones that haven't rotted out tend to be held onto. I know someone who had to go to the southern US to get one. The likelihood of you finding a good one here and the owner being willing to sell, Is virtually nonexistent.

20 plus years ago when I bought mine a 92 ( later sold for a 150 gas 89 ram again from the US below and that also sold 8 years ago she was original paint and zero rust) I had to get one from texas to get one that wasn't rotten or beat to death. My texas one with the diesel is still here and mint and forget the guy selling it and only seen driving in the summer now. Also seems to be more in texas than anywhere else in the us and the ones from western canada may look good but IMHO are no where near as mint as one from texas I got but be prepared to replace all rubbers since they are dried out

Odds of a local one good are slim to none and be prepared to pay like 25,000 for a mint one now that is not 4x4 and up to 60,000 for a 4x4 since have not been made since 1993 and seen as very collectable.
Here is the twin of mine right to the hub caps
Watch this guy he gets a lot in
Cheers

I was surprised but, I saw one on vehicle transport truck/trailer on the weekend. It must have been arriving here because , while not perfect, it was in far too good of shape to be a local truck.

There is a guy on tower road that brings back a trailer full load for people mostly old stuff they bought and a lot of it from western canada. Where bradly had the junk yard years ago or maybe he still owns it I have no idea but seen a 68 impala fast back green on his truck/ trailer set up about feb which made me turn around LOL for a closer look
It was far from mint but like you say not local for sure
Cheers
