I have 19 selected that I'm really hoping to make it to this year. Maybe...just maybe another 1 or 2 out of towners in PEI or NB. About 2000+ rounds at the competitions...
Not counting the 1000 or more rounds the grand sons and I will shoot at Nova Sporting this year. Gonna be a blast !! Literally !!

For clays most often a 725 sporting 12ga with some maxus hunter mixed in depending on weather . Then some times its the 20ga 725 field and really liking the SX3 20ga that I picked up last summerWhat do you shoot now rembolt a semi or O/U I know it is a browning![]()
Club events require 7.5 shot or smaller . With a 11/8 oz payload or lighter .I like 1oz payload my self in the 12ga at 1250fps .Your likely to see remington ,federal ,kent ,winchester and challanger in use in this province . And fair number of people roll their own .What do you guys shoot for shells when shooting clays ??? I just shoot whatever I have laying around … and most generally in a gravel pit with a bunch of family and friends. I’m shooting a Browning Maxus Golden Sporting Clays 12 ga... with an extended Skeet choke tube.
My "A Game" is always with me buddy !!! Just that some days it's a capital "A" and some days it's a small "a"...lmaoWell Kevin my shoot schudle looks very similar to yours with 18 highlighted with a couple more maybe. Yes Kevin two great shoots to start off the season especially for anyone who has not shot sporting clays before or been to a club shoot , good bunch and no pressure and as they say NO FOOL LIKE A OLD FOOL so we will fit right in. 😝The Spring Opener at Lunenburg Rod & Gun Club is just around the corner. 100 sporting clays over 11 or 12 stations.
April 1st is the date. Should be called the " April Fools shoot "...esp with me and Mark there...lmao
Then Kentville's opener is the following week..Apr 7th. They're bringing back the pot luck lunch too...haven't seen that since covid stopped the world from spinning!!
FINALLY...SHOOTING SEASON IS HERE !!!!
Have fun Kevin and I hope you grind them all up but this old dog staying curled up on the rug. Better weather next week in Kentville so I will see you then.TODAY'S DA DAY !!!! First shoot of the 2023 season in beautiful, sunny, warm Lunenburg ! 🤣 🤣
Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow or hail is gonna curb the excitement today...been a looooong winter ..least it sure seems like it to me. Remember Mark...slippery guns and wet hands are no excuse....lmao
