Here is the new shooting schedule out for the Atlantic region for 2023.
I have 19 selected that I'm really hoping to make it to this year. Maybe...just maybe another 1 or 2 out of towners in PEI or NB. About 2000+ rounds at the competitions...
Not counting the 1000 or more rounds the grand sons and I will shoot at Nova Sporting this year. Gonna be a blast !! Literally !!

What do you shoot now rembolt a semi or O/U I know it is a browning :)
What do you guys shoot for shells when shooting clays ??? I just shoot whatever I have laying around … and most generally in a gravel pit with a bunch of family and friends. I’m shooting a Browning Maxus Golden Sporting Clays 12 ga... with an extended Skeet choke tube.

Well Kevin my shoot schudle looks very similar to yours with 18 highlighted with a couple more maybe. Get out and practice my freind I am going to bring the A game when I see you. These club sponsored shoots are a great way meet
new shooters and try out the different shooting venues, a good way to start new shooters and humble the seasoned
hunter.

For clays most often a 725 sporting 12ga with some maxus hunter mixed in depending on weather . Then some times its the 20ga 725 field and really liking the SX3 20ga that I picked up last summer

Club events require 7.5 shot or smaller . With a 11/8 oz payload or lighter .I like 1oz payload my self in the 12ga at 1250fps .Your likely to see remington ,federal ,kent ,winchester and challanger in use in this province . And fair number of people roll their own .

Yea BM...nothing larger than 7.5 shot. I use a combo of 7.5..8 and # 9 on certain stations. I use lots of reloads and some factory stuff.
You should come up to Lunenburg to one of the shoots this summer and join us. Bring the young fella too. We'll fit you in to one of our rag tag bunch of bandits. We're NOT serious about it and always have a laff. All you need is 100 rds of any target load...7.5 or # 8...couple extras for do-overs and a shotgun to suit. Pumps or semis.. ONLY 2 shots loaded max at any given station. Any shoot but the Nova Series...we already have a full squad for that event.

My "A Game" is always with me buddy !!! Just that some days it's a capital "A" and some days it's a small "a"...lmao
Something I have always wondered is Kevin really that good or are the rest of you guys really that bad:D
Lots of guys way better than me Joe ! I can hold my own tho...some days it harder to hold me...ha ha ha ha. Mark is a very good shot...and he'll tell you that right up front 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Very nice collection Cannot go wrong IMO with the x3 I have one in 12ga and like it better than the maxus I have
Maybe just me but I also shot the semi's better than the O/U also especially in 12ga
take care and smoke them all :)
The Spring Opener at Lunenburg Rod & Gun Club is just around the corner. 100 sporting clays over 11 or 12 stations.
April 1st is the date. Should be called the " April Fools shoot "...esp with me and Mark there...lmao
Then Kentville's opener is the following week..Apr 7th. They're bringing back the pot luck lunch too...haven't seen that since covid stopped the world from spinning!!
FINALLY...SHOOTING SEASON IS HERE !!!!

Yes Kevin two great shoots to start off the season especially for anyone who has not shot sporting clays before or been to a club shoot , good bunch and no pressure and as they say NO FOOL LIKE A OLD FOOL so we will fit right in. 😝 :p
TODAY'S DA DAY !!!! First shoot of the 2023 season in beautiful, sunny, warm Lunenburg ! 🤣 🤣
Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow or hail is gonna curb the excitement today...been a looooong winter ..least it sure seems like it to me. Remember Mark...slippery guns and wet hands are no excuse....lmao

Have fun Kevin and I hope you grind them all up but this old dog staying curled up on the rug. Better weather next week in Kentville so I will see you then.
Not gonna lie buddy...it was cold...windy...snowy...freezing gropple.. RAIN...clumps of slush falling off the trees, and I'm sure I felt hail on my frozen fingers at one point...lol.....but it was fun !! Great course of targets. (( fekkin rabbits ha ha ha)) 38 shooters total braved the elements...but I suspect the weather held them home. Jason Bartlett had the HOA with a 87 / 100
He bested me by 1...I was 1st place in A class with an 86...lol let some easy ones get away from me...like always tho...heh heh
