Cannot find an official release but it is being said that Alliant has no plans to ship ANY powder to canada in 2023 and that they stopped making 8ooX
So if you see some and use it I would grab it
Prehaps Kevin you can ask Ross next time you talk to him if this is true I see he has ZERO stock of any Alliant powders as we speak

Hodgdon took over Ramshot, Accurate, and Blackhorn, I think Vista Oudoors still owns Aliant powder along with Federal, Remington CCI etc..

All I know is when stuff like this happens some good products fall away and we get limited selections with no competition so much higher prices which we are seeing big time

I stand corrected it was Accurate that hodgdon bought in 2020. Allaint is still owned by vista outdoors .

Had a Fed Top Gun dud the other day. Primer was too deep in the cup causing a very light f-pin strike. I had to CSI it and cut it open...just to see what Federals been up yo...lol
Couple of surprises.
Wad pressure was so great had to dig the powder out ! Annnd it had the stem of the gas seal portion of the 2 pc wad system mushroomed over because of the seating pressure !
Biggest thing was the shot ! Supposed to be # 8...looked like a mix of # 6 thru # 9 !!!

Too funny Man have they ever cheapened them over the years The shot sizes would not be as bad they they were round

I can tell you 100% when they first came out they sure were not like that and I still have at least 10 four packs to prove it Rembolt laughs every time I post a pic and brings him back in time since most have not seen these babies for many years
They were great trap loads with uniform round shot and normal federal wads and 19.99 a box of four at wally mart

Just throwing this in here … CT in Bridgewater has 8 boxes of 410 ammo in. Winchester Super X. 2.5 in … 4x #6 … and 4x#7.5. (In case anyone was looking).

Yes sir Kevin Some guys have a stash but a true hoarder has their powder new in an unopened box

same guy that bought the unique in NB dropping in tomorrow or late today for these two 8 pounders of red dot
Not for sale when he called until $1400 was offered. Man I wish I had of stashed a lot more at this rate and it is him setting the price not me and I would have to be an idiot to keep it with the 700x still here and that crazy money IMO Dude must be rich or love Alliant powders
