I suspect that's because a) they haven't done anything noteworthy, and, b) in spite of the fact some on here claim others are Liberal supporters, there are no Liberals here.
You only think you can Just because they are not far right loons and think Pierre is a cry baby loser also and no good for canada doesn't mean they are liberals It means they have a brain with an IQ higher than plant life and don't vote based on dreams
Who in their right mind would like any party they see in canada right now and any leader I have admitted many times here I voted for them once when the idiot PC were changing the retirement age to 67 and going to starve me for 2 years
Anyone that defends that POS, like a few on here, are pure bred liberals.... and I would venture a guess that your "X" went beside a liberal candidate more than it hasn't. I calls them as I sees them.

Starve you? you go on like you have money all the time on here. This might go against the grain for many of the old folks but think logically for a minute. The raising from 65-67 actually makes sense. Life spans are way longer than they used to be. People are easily living well into their 80's and 90's now so people are collecting way longer then they were ever supposed to. Its totally a function of the financials and nothing else.

Nope far from rich and I have enough to get by even without trapping beavers again for cash and still put a lot of hours in to get what we want Me I don't need anything at this stage of my life I am finer with what I have on all fronts other than my health
Carry a lunch can sadly and one will have very little in life as my pal aways said and was right
Stopping my old age and canada pension for two years was never part of my investment plan with my rrsp's and this would have killed me and our life style
Makes sense if one is young and has time two plan for that NOT for someone on the other end and planned and based their retirement from age 18 to be done at 65

The policy was based around the year people were born so not everyone stood to lose. If the policy was revamped now to say anyone born after 1970 or whatever doesn't get it until they are 67 that would be agreeable in my mind.

All I know is for the year I was born I was screwed and that is all that mattered to me and yes pending when one was born would be no big deal for some The way it was first rolled out had no thought into it at all
Many have no choice especially if they are on disability or took an early package that ends at 65 like my bud I lose everything I currently get at 65 including by medical coverage as did all the coal miners

They must have had government jobs or worked where there was a very strong union. That's a big saving for those that have it!
My wife and I have a private plan with Blue Cross now. All group coverage stopped when work stopped paying me. It is quite expensive and has a lot more limitations on coverage than our old group plans did but we have it "just in case" one of us develops something that requires expensive treatment.
I often wonder if we're crazy to keep paying them every month. Problem is though that a few newer drugs are incredibly expensive if you need them and in some are take them or die.
I will save you the long conversation with her
She will to this day say if you are not white a god fearing catholic and Liberal you are not worth anything and just taking good air from good people and WTF is wrong with you
Remember she married a west virginia REAL red neck not a WTB who's family was KKK and yes I am embarrased by all of that to this day and she even at 89 is nothing to agrue with in fact loves it and plays to win at all costs I get it naturally Just to add unreal on a computer lives on face book and knows what goes on in town as it happens it seems and would think nothing to try to contact Justin if she figured she had to Only home I knew the Jehovah's Witnesses: would skip after one session with her and her with the door open calling them in for tea
A 15 minute call I make is always 3 hours at least but she is a great mom and I love her
Cheers

Yep both and agree 100% My pills are about 800 a month and growing now with being diabetic and never took one before cancer Thank god my plan covers a good percentage and their is an option of a follow me program for after 65 but they say expensive but I have to wait to see what the cost is and if cheaper than 800 worth it or can get added to the mrs before 65 but that is lilke 370 a month which i don't need right now
