It’s interesting how this began during Harper’s time as PM (and Poilievre’s stint as a member of that government) and was not only ignored by that government they actually kissed up to China. Now Poilievre stands there and spouts diatribes from his pulpit against Justin and the Trudeau government for not cleaning up what he helped create. Sure, all the Conservatives today conveniently forget this bit of factual information. The hypocrisy of their leader is astounding and the willingness of his followers to never check the facts of who this guy really is and who he really represents continues to confound me.
Stop listening to these people, they do not speak for me or the "Chinese Canadians" which I am part of in Canada They just want to silence other views At the end of the day, it is the voter who decides in a secret ballot, no foreign entity forces them to vote one way or another.

Then if he does run and loses he's done for good.
