Chinese election interference

“investigation for Global News identifies that PM Justin Trudeau's senior aides were allegedly briefed by CSIS shortly before the October 2019 federal election, that candidate Han Dong, was suspected to be involved in PRC Foreign Interference.
CSIS investigators would later allege that Chinese Canadian seniors and students were bussed into the riding, and students were told they had to vote for a certain candidate to keep their student visas, sources informed Global News. They said Han Dong was the candidate.
National security officials also allege that Han Dong, now a sitting MP re-elected in 2021, is 1 of at least 11 Toronto-area riding candidates supported by Beijing in 2019. These officials said CSIS also believes Dong is a witting affiliate in China’s election interference.
But rather than heeding the alleged CSIS concerns about Dong, the party allowed him to proceed in 2019, and he won the seat.”

Or do we? The number of scandals with this government that have come to light may only be the tip of the iceberg!
I know that if I ever get in trouble with the law, I am going to request a few months to pick the judge and jury from a list of my family and friends!
What country has no checks and balances in place to stop someone who is being investigated from deciding whether or not an investigation can take place?

Almost every western government has this sort of thing going on. It's all there if you dig deep enough instead of trusting the main stream media.

Singh did what he normally does, sided the liberals to vote down anyone having to testify from the liberal party. This corruption continues I am scared the country is going to implode.
Apparently … members of the Biden family accepted a “few million dollars” from a Chinese company. The GOP wants this investigated, because no one knows what this money was for. The Dems could be using the Trump thing to take the focus off that … or the republicans could be using that to take the focus off the Trump thing ????? I thought Canada was a shit show. We ain’t got nothing on the circus south of the border.
That's for sure!!!!
Bad as politics are in Canada, the Americans make us look like a bunch of absolute angels!
I suspect the Trump investigation(s) are more to try to ruin his chances of ever becoming President again than they are about being able to get a jury to find him guilty. He is guilty of several things but I don't think he will ever see the inside of a jail.
The Bidens, who knows how much if any of it is real and how much is smoke screen by Republicans. Could go either way.
Han Dong steps down from the Liberal caucus after Global news reported that he told a Chinese diplomat not to release the two Michaels as it would help the Conservatives.

The tearful goodbyes, heartfelt and sorrowful looks, with some standing and clapping.
What a noble Canadian politician!

How is he allowed to still be involved in the inner workings of our government as an Independent? I get the innocent until proven guilty but not involving national security and our democracy!

Let's see if Trudeau still backs him, or if we have just established who the fall guy / lightning rod of the rigged investigation will be?

A little more of the iceberg is showing perhaps!

Trudeau's response, "We were not aware of this, and um er Dong was not acting on behalf of the Liberal Party"
Trudy better be careful or he may start to sound racist.
More whistleblowers to hunt as the cries for a public inquiry get louder and louder!

He will deny it right to the end. He knew about it all along and trying to pass the buck. If he had no part of it, or didn't know anything about it, why is he trying so hard to avoid a public inquiry?? He's as guilty as dong himself

I watch a lot of the house of commons proceedings. Not once is Singh ever singled out, I don't think like Trudeau he even attends most days. This whole thing ends by going after Singh yet not one question is ever directed at him. He is made accountable for nothing. This is so odd. He is the sole person keeping Trudeau afloat.

Watching Trudeau speak is like playing a game of spin the bottle , you never know what direction his lying will take him or who is going get his finger pointed at them to be the scapegoat of all his dirty deeds , Guess all those yrs as a Drama teacher came in handy after all , too bad he never skied off Pike's Peak .

Sing us a Song is on the news at this moment saying Sock boy needs to allow a Public Inquiry and his party is only ones who want the Truth brought forward, Accusing the Conservatives are playing games and don't want the truth put forward , but yet he is not prepared to pull support if Trudy won't allow a inquiry .

The Q Tip states he is trying safe guard our democracy 😂😂😂😂😂😂

In other political news, the House of Commons voted down the escalator alcohol tax by a vote of 170-149. This vote was brought about by PP. Not one Nova Scotia Liberal MP voted to scrap this tax but all 3 Conservatives did.

Now the question is, will Trudy honour it and scrap it from the budget?

Unlikely for the little dictator to heed the wishes of constituents!

They have to put the tax up to pay for there big pay raise the first of April.
In other news, when the Canadian Taxpayers Federation filed a request under the information act to find out who rented the $6000/night room for the Queen's funeral, and the report had the name blacked out, Trudeau dodged the questions, the name was withheld, lawyers were hired by Canadian taxpayers, and he knew he would lose in court the culprit was finally revealed, waaaiiiittt for it...
It was Justin!
The entire trip only cost $400,000

Absolutely ridiculous. What has this guy done in the last few years that is so wild and wonderful, that people continue to support him ???? I just shake my head. Harper used to go to NHL games and sit in the stands with everyone else. Can you imagine sock boy doing that ??? He would need to have his security entourage with him. He is a hated man, and can't go out in public without being harassed. How does this guy win elections ???? Not sure what is worse .... him or the ones that continue to vote for him ???
