A teen, not mine, presented this question to me regarding a project that he is doing on Climate Change.
Give it a read and let your fingers do the googling to verify the numbers.
I also have screenshots of his sources as well, though for privacy reasons, I refrained from posting them.
Very interested to hear your feedback.
Note: The 542.6 million tonnes is from all fossil fuels combustion and industrial processes.
Figured I would clarify, as I would not want to misquote this young fella.

Kids aren't as dumb as some people think.

Maybe some almost lost my daughter and a few of her friends in grade 11 after they all went vegan all of a sudden and over time got very sick and hospitalized only to later find out it was the teacher behind it

Down here they asked kids to stand up if they had cable, both parents working, 2 cars etc. Once the kids stood up, the teacher said, "Congratulations, you are WHITE PRIVLEDGED"
I waited until the end of the course, at my son's request, and then went at the school.
I asked them if they knew each kids personal life outside of school, or their mental state or what issues they may be dealing with regarding isolation, covid, or personal issues.
I also asked how they expected to build up one race by tearing down another.
I was assured their approach would change.

Is it any surprise that so many are choosing to home school.

Is it any surprise why teachers and support staff are leaving the proffession either ? Between being told to teach and support the narrative over ABC /123 cursive , life skills , respect , good grammar and math skills are now back stage to the sexual preference over biology , people's feelings are more important over respect and honor. No longer partake but get a trophy , being upgraded despite no skills or work done to achieve higher grade for following yr . The list goes on and on.
Home schooling does what public school is failing at, and by parents without a teacher's degree or B.A in education or other higher Education . So we really need take stand on what the social issues are today and where things are failing our youth. When Transgender males are more important to read story time about sexual identity over extra time helping kids in studies they lack skills in . We have a serious and very serious problem with public schools as a whole !

Just throw out any logic or common sense. One person has already solved how to get to net zero.

Simple formula: a.) you do this ….. and …. b.) I’ll counter-balance with this.

a.) demand the citizens (peasants) to systematically pay a carbon tax ….. and …….
b.) continuously burn jet fuel into the atmosphere tripping around the planet.

……. and have I ever mentioned that this ”moistly speaking, dramatic s.o.b., smug faced piece of chit makes me puke!!

You should file a complaint with the school board as well, that teacher should be terminated.
Many “ non white children” have as good or better lifestyles. So what does that make them???

WOW they would be diciplined on the spot where my mrs is and as a min spend some time home unpaid thinking about their futures
Have never heard the like Kudos to you for making the visit I would have done the same and put in a formal written compaint to the principal and school board

A local grade 7 teacher told a class full of kids, that he was happy the queen died. No need of the monarchy any longer. Regardless of what you believe, you don't say that to a class full of grade 7 kids. The same teacher made a joke about hanging someone. Wouldn't have been so bad, but a student of his just lost his brother to a suicide by hanging. I don't think he was reprimanded on either occurrence. I know some of the parents complained

I did just that. Formal complaint was written to the school board.

If this teacher worked in Ontario and they were to be disciplined, it would be public knowledge. Not so in Nova Scotia where teacher discipline is done under a cloak of secrecy.

Used to be some good ol discipline back in the day
A teacher with a record of assualting his students hit my sister with the pointer one day for laughing at a smart remark from another student. This was in 5th grade. She came home at noon and told mom,mom called dad at work. He left work immediately went to the school and knocked the teacher senseless. Then proceeded to The the principals office and told him that the teacher would need a replacement and it had better be permanent. The teacher was suspended but returned to teaching at the junior high level. He was my 8th grade science teacher. Always wondered if the scare on his face was from a particular beating he took a few years earlier!
However the dumb SOB never learned his lesson, one day the guy in front of me moved his desk making a scraping sound when he did, the teacher ran right over and slapped him across the head! I said something stupid and he turned on me and I laughed and told him who my sister was and the poor bugger turned white as a ghost!!!

Looks like an assortment of used balls. Likely a golf course employee who finds them and cleans them to resell. I don’t use used golf balls although most are still ok it only takes one bad ball and one poor result to ruin a round of golf. But I do use Titleist most of the time.

You make a good point. Even today, different scientists looking at data on a topic, like covid or global warming for example, can come up with quite different theories using the same data. Its how they interpret what they think they see and, unfortunately, often influenced by their personal biases. Plus some are not above cherry picking from the data.
So, looking at global warming, there could be and probably are some wrong conclusions being arrived at on both sides of the argument. There have historically been temperature fluctuations on earth that we cannot possibly understand with 100% certainty, even though some think they can. Today we can and do track current and recent data and trends in that data on climate change but even so, understanding every interconnected influence and the root causes of those influences involved is incredibly complicated. Are we really understanding everything we think we see? Are we focusing on the important chemicals or the ones we think are important? Are big business interests trying like hell to twist the data and conversation to suit their bottom lines? Are some "scientists" paid to support certain sides of the story?
I'm afraid the real answers to the causes of global warming and whether or not and how man can influence it will be too long coming and/or being agreed upon to do humanity any real good. ☹

If you actually took the time to watch his material, instead of vomiting up someone else's opinion, you would see the number of published scientific reports that his 'pseudo science' is based on. If you took the time to watch his material, you would see the amount of successful prediction he is doing, above 95% accuracy. Dismissing someone because they don't follow the mainstream, labeling them as pseudo science, is how you miss new things. Copernicus would have been labeled pseudo science in his day for pushing the heliocentric model.

I watch all sides AND I read the published literature. I form my own opinion by observation of the universe and I compare the information published by all sides. I didn't discount flat earth when it first came out but I read and watched both sides and compared it to my own observations. Flat earth is one of the most devious ones because it uses real facts but it's just off in the slightest (fact wise). If it wasn't for my own personal experience on the ocean with the Navy, I could have gone flat earth back then. I've since seen more refined research that has better demonstrated the earth's curve (actually done by flat earthers trying to prove their side.)
What's the point of this response? Don't believe anything you read/hear/see no matter which side it comes from. As soon as you believe 'the science' you aren't following science any more. Science is a process, not a destination. Look into why you can't prove anything with science. The best you can do is fail to falsify. As soon as you think 'the science is settled' you aren't doing science. You are following propaganda.
Wanna actually talk science, I'm all in. Half of the responses here are just willfully ignorant blow hards.

Although he has very little, if any, support in the scientific community, a doomsday theorist from Colorado says the Earth will be devastated by a massive thermonuclear explosion very soon. He is scheduled to speak in Cheyenne on January 7 2022 if the world hasn't exploded by then.
