Still can't get my head around it. What a country we live in.
Our PC rep went in. !
I was SOOOOOO GLAD to see that stoopid bayyoch Jordan lose her seat. Minister of fisheries all right...she couldn't tell a fekiin sea urchin from a jellyfish !
We did get our way...outvoted the socialists at the Eastern end of the constituancy,so she's gone.I saw Sacks on the news today.Says he's hoping for a Fisheries minister from Central Canada....apparently hoping they know less about the fisheries than she did.Is that even possible??

I gotta agree with 3mac1 had hoped he was wrong but saw the tide turning as flip flop A-hole toole flipped and flopped with his own platform. What a dipshit.
Here in Hfx west with Regan retired the mla ran for the federal party. Sucked as an mla but got more votes then pc and NDP combined. Some real stupid people in this riding!
Have you not listened to a few here I am always right:rolleyes: Man I wish that was true but far from it
One didnot have to be too smart to see what he did if one was watching the polls He caught Justin and was passing him until he flipped flopped and within a day the bleeding stopped for the liberals and within a week they gained back like 4%
He lost a minority government for the PC it was there for the taking
Cheers

Ohh yes and be ready for more gun bans and restrictions
I don't think so IMHO
Ok sorry except handguns. Something will happen there and god knows what
They milked the rest of it for what it was worth and now will be too busy trying to figure out how to finish with the mess in place to add more. This is not uncommon
They wack you and then leave you alone for a few years until they wack you again
I am still here dreaming about that buy out some think is coming.. More useless prohibs I will own IMO with grandfathering
Cheers

Justin gone . Sorry but I have to laugh .Another election in 18 months :rolleyes:my god boys come on
Justin is going no where anytime soon and he would be totally off his rocker to calling another election in 18 months after the beating he took for doing it this time
Think about that. Then again and as proven in the prior to election day comments dreaming may keep people sane in theses times so full your boots
No the only one saying that a 18 month election is coming is O'Tool or shall we now say O'Fool which his own party has now labeled him
He is grasping trying to keep his job but he is toast just a matter of time
As far as the NDP they are back in love with the liberals and Jagmeet IMO is as safe as a church mouse since him and Justin have that special relationship as shared here in pics:D a few times .
Cheers

Handguns are on the chopping block for sure. I expect the list to continue to grow … if they remain in power for too long.… but I would guess the next election will be the fall of 2023.

From now on I am going to start taking bets to make some money :D:D
How much you willing to gamble :p
I think handgun storage is going to be the issue not so much taking/banning them but just a guess. Meaning no more storage at home

I should have been more clear .... I don’t think handguns will be banned … but a storage facility at your local club is definitely not out of the question. I do predict another election within 2 years. Most minority governments calls them within 2 years.

It won’t be only handguns. Say goodbye to many of your hunting and target rifles. Or at least get ready to see them hacked up. The liberals lobbied on a change to ban ALL magazines over 5 for long guns. Not semis not assault guns not Center fire. Long guns.

Like bans, the storage concept is simplistic. It's all about imagining the perfect solution. Look at the guns. They are all locked up and no one can shoot anyone. That's the dream solution, but it doesn't answer how something other than storage can happen.

In reality, guns need to be cleaned. You can't do that at a range. My range says they come out of the gun container at the firing line.

In realty, someone needs to guard the massive storage spot for guns. How does that happen when people have been using the DNR range as in Cape Breton? How does that happen for most clubs in rural areas that are basically a shack in a remote area?

In reality, people need to take their hand gun out of the super secure storage to enjoy it's use. How does that happen when the clubs are volunteer based and don't even have one employee?

In reality a club like AVSSC likely has about 400 to 500 hand gun owners as members. Each might own one or multiple hand guns. How is the secure space created, in a building that is basically a cottage, for hundreds of handguns? How much does it cost to build on a secure storage facility which also allows access by each owner to only their hand guns?

Supposedly the Liberal team that travelled around asking how this could be done, came to the conclusion that central storage does not work everywhere, and they cited the example of a Yukon gun club very much like our rural clubs in N.S.

Been hearing that since the 60's and still have all of the ones I wanted to keep .Didnot believe it then and don't now . Banning all mags over 5 is not banning bolt action or lever hunting rifles just restricting their capacities and yes a mag ban is coming 100%
The criteria for what is banned in rifles is so simple if one wants to look it with out preconceived ideas AR's for example sorry but they are not hunting rifles they are military designs now used for hunting BIG difference so toast
I ask a simple question what hunting or target rifles has the government taken from me in 55 years . ANSWER NONE yet they want them now NOT sorry
Grand pa's lever or bolt remy is going no where plus levers are not even good for rebar so no one wants them:p
It was outlined in the platform what was coming

A re-elected Liberal government will:

• Toughen our laws on banned assault weapons by
making it mandatory for owners to either sell the
firearm back to the government for destruction and
fair compensation or have it rendered fully and
permanently inoperable at government expense.

• Crack down on high-capacity magazines and require
that long gun magazines capable of holding more
than 5 rounds be permanently altered so that they
can never hold more than 5 rounds

• Ban the sale or transfer of magazines that could hold
more than a legal number of bullets, regardless of
how they were intended to be used by the
manufacturer.

• Set aside a minimum of $1 billion to support
provinces or territories who implement a ban on
handguns across their jurisdiction, to keep our cities
and communities safe.

Cheers

So explain to me how they will limit a lever actoin to 5 rounds without permanently ruining the gun? A plug won’t cut it I’m sure.

Cuts it in a semi auto shotgun doesn't it as long as it cannot be easily removed with out having to use tools . A mag tube is a mag tube
In fact a few US states require 3 shot max and have been using plugged levers for years

It’s permitted for hunting. But they don’t allow you to simply put a removable plug in a SKS magazine or an AR15 magazine. Those have to permanently altered. It will be the same for all long guns if they put that through. They won’t just let you put a piece of dowel in there.

We have enough to worry about with the items they are going to do vs what some think is going to happen . An AR is banned so makes no difference any more and I am not following you on the sks they have a 5 round mag available to buy.
Yes we may have to buy new mags or have plugs installed but that is NOT banning and taking your gun. They don't allow a piece of dowel in a shotgun either if it can be removed with no tools. Seen guys charged in PEI for that
Big difference IMO making a mod vs getting banned. I guess I look at the positive in it vs where it could be

I see in the news today that the RCMP have charged a couple of ex SNC Lavalin executives with fraud and forgery after years of ongoing investigation. I have to wonder if the RCMP were instructed to wait until after the election to get this out into the news.........

This sums is up nicely

the REAL looser in the election was this great country Canada from this fiasco of last election , I'll just say this from our own polling place , the Libtaards lost every poll outta 4 at our place of voting and leave it at that not just few votes either. 790 thru the doors not much No but higher than last time around .

Its clear that people just did not trust O'toole who ' fighting for his job and the turd's popularity has fizzled some , vote buying with CERB , CRB and promise to make new grand payout while MANDEMIC keeps rolling thru .

Electoral map of seats won by libs show just where the sheep are gathered just thinking they are safe from the wolf , but yet it will be the shepard of the flock ( CULT ) Who will eat them in the end !

It is not that BADDDDDDDDDD Justin just made a fresh batch of koolaide since he WON the election and we will share some with you :D:D
Oh yes living in the cape there is no worry about any wolves eating sheep and the shepard regardless if red or blue could not care less about the cape for at least 30 years now. One just has to look around us to see that. My MP they call the invisible man yet he still got back in :(
Take care
