I've got chickens and a raccoon problem. I've built a trap but I don't have a license so I'm not supposed to kill the little darlings but I also don't feel good about driving them somewhere to be someone else's problem. I'd hoped to find someone who would use them for fur. I'm in Orangedale in Inverness County - does anyone know someone who traps animals for fur in this area? (I have some previous experience in this department and expect to catch a dozen or so.)

Fur prices are way down. Now is not the time to look for a person to take the raccoon off your hands. The summer pelts are worth less then a few dollars received during a trapping season. Now may be a time to look for a trapper in your area who during season will take them maybe.
Might be best out of site out of mind now.
