Playing with a new toy this weekend - I see a big learning curve in my future. LOL.

This guy wasn't interested in coming out in the open.

This one was a little more cooperative.

From one trigger to another !! Great shots ! Keep them coming .
Nice pics Gary. I love to see Otters in action.
Very nice Gary. Another good reason to spend time in the field. Looking forward to seeing more.
Very nice Gary!!

Looking forward to viewing your learning curve.
nice
Nice Pics Gary. I am not at all surprised.....
Ahhhh...something else to keep us entertained on NSH !!

Hope you plan to sit in the woods a spell....esp at the "river"....lol

Looking forward to seeing how you progress with it.
what kinda cam you get? I'm looking for a decent camera right now...and don't know a whole lot about them...

I'm thinking of making the switch from bow to camera.....I always said when I dont get the rush from hunting anymore....I'd pack er in.

I took 4 critters last year....and the excitement was pretty much gone.

But I cant stay out of the woods thats for sure.....I'm thinking a cam may be the answer.
Its not a cam - its an image taking computer LOL. Not sure what I got myself into. Gun, bow & crossbow, traps, snares are a lot easier IMO - but hell, never was one to do things easy way.

Its a Panasonic GH4 - figured the four thirds was way to go re supposedly being lighter, smaller package, etc. This is ALL new to me so if you want real advise figure guys like takeem, kpr, old ducker, etc are guys to talk to. Although, from your posts, you'll likely want to speak to a real old timer - ya know - one of those primitive cams that's basically a wooden box, blanket over the head, handheld flash thingies, etc. LOL.

Don't mind sharing what Im bumbling around with though - I can send you a PM, with details, if you want.
thanks....i'm just wondering whats around....i know 0 about cameras
Nice work Gary!!! Keep'em comin'! Any questions, don't hesitate to ask. ;)

Now that is funny right there...ya got a good read on old Danial Boone...I mean Bea!!!

Butch
funny...i just read some stuff on an exclusive club who have climbed Everest ( my latest goal is to climb Killimanjaro - its a 10 day camping adventure...start in rain forest...end up in glacier!)

but I digress lol....this club forbids the use of oxygen tanks ( which many many use) .

If I was a mtn climber I wouldnt wanna use oxygen tanks....but I'm not so thats easy to say lol
One of the reasons i continue to visit this site, always enjoyed and appreciated. No help needed, far as i can tell, beauties as usual:)
Thanks for the positive comments, guys.

Takeem - will definitely send you a question or two (or three) once I get my head wrapped around this stuff a little better. Thanks.

some practise shots - trying to work on moving stuff.

This day was cold - froze the trigger finger.
