Here's a picture of a young bear that I came across last fall. I was about 50 feet frim the tree he's in. Picture may not blow up much without pixelating because it was taken with my phone.
He woofed in alarm, went up the tree and stayed there for a few minutes before coming back down and taking off. I had a bear stamp but was only carrying birdshot so he was safe.😊
BTW - I'm not trying to hijack this thread. I don't think I've uploaded a picture before so decided to try it here.
Fantastic compilation! Some nice healthy looking animals there and a fair number of them too.
I agree about the coyote pack! I wouldn't want to run into that pack unless I was "packing" or with at least one other person. Likely wouldn't bother you but they might get really brave if they were hungry enough.
Re the coyote pack - that day Ive got 7 coyotes on 2 other locations, in the area. Before & after only 1 to 3 coyotes. The last 3 Winters, that area's tcams shows a pack in Feb/March only. Dont see that many in the other areas I have the Winter tcams. Be a crazy amount of noise if they all started howling/yipping together, lol.

Wow! For a moment there I thought I was watching “The Nature of Things”. It was nice to see all the different animals, especially Bob the Cat. He has a nice fur coat! Thanks Gary
this vid was put together with vid clips from 9 different brands of tcams. I find the coyotes and other critters react differently on each encounter. Doesnt matter if its black flash or red flash. However, I do find the black flash has less reaction overall from a variety of critters.
As far as coyotes go - had them totally freaked out and run away, had one testing the cam like they do with prey, have had them come back for a 2nd look and recently had one check it out and chew a cpl sticks in front of it, as if pissed off??
I dont like providing tcam models cause I find ALL brands ( and Ive had many) have their failures (some catastrophic) however, Gardepro A3 & the below model both had Sony image sensors when I got them (about 6 months ago). And once the firmware upgrades were done, have captured bedded deer and other close up critter action without too many running off scared.

Here's a brief article that explains the different flashes.
Answer this honestly...How many of you have had a conversation with a friend where one of these talking points came up? Dude, My Black Flash camera is visible! I can see my No Glow camera flash! I know it's spooking deer! I don’t know what’s wrong, I was just looking through some trail camera...
