Not to sound cold-hearted, but 30 people die per day in Nova Scotia, on average. Many younger than 80 and 90. How many of the ones that have died, were vaccinated ???? Most of them, if not all of them. I still don't like the fact that they restrict the healthy for the sake of a couple unhealthy. My views on that will never change.

Right now, if you are over 70 and die, they'll say it was covid. Especially if you die in hospital

Nearly 100% of the age group of the people that died in the last week were vaccinated. I don't know the exact numbers but I would venture a guess that most of those, or nearly all of the ones that died, were fully vaccinated. All the deaths were the elderly with underlying health conditions. Houston's words not mine.

1- numerous religions donot accept modern medicine. In Canada that is approximately 12,000,000 that won't get the vax for religious reasons alone.

Plus people with exemptions religious medical or any other are placed in the ineligible category and are not counted in the current number of vaxed persons in Canada. So in reality the 80% or whatever our gov claims the vax rate aren’t really accurate.

Yep 75% and 80% are the same don't need to go any further than that. Admitting you have an issue is the first step . Took 4 years of fighting like this before my wife finally admitted she was deaf and wears two hearing aids since and the fighting and my mumbling etc etc is all gone now. Just sharing what I have seen 3D

WOW, You are a very compasionate and caring individual Buckmark. If only the elderly, the sick and those with underling health conditions could be disposed of you could be down in Florida riding your motorcycle, without a helmet, with the wind whistling through your ears. Being in the 80-90 group myself, I hope that me and all my friends in our group hang in there until this pandemic is over, even if it does upset YOUR apple-cart. Or should I say YOUR motorcycle

Yes I am in the way to see my 87 year old mom dropping off some honey she loves and some flowers in the lobby but not going in for a visit since I don't want her to get this covid flu even though at 87 buckmark thinks it is Ok for her to be dead and covid is just a cold

Apparently people are not allowed to die of old age anymore. Covid, covid, covid. No one wants any of their elderly friends or family to die. Unfortunately .... it's part of life. The fact that these people ... who were their 80's and 90's ... and they ALL had underlying health conditions, probably would have died anyway, regardless of covid. The government paints a pretty good picture. Harping on the importance of the vaccine and how it will save your life. Didn't work out so well for those that died. DD .... you sound like you are in pretty good shape for an older fella. Still in the woods and climbing trees. It's your immune system keeping you healthy ... not a bogus vaccine. But if getting triple jabbed makes you sleep better at night, that's all that matters.

Just an update on the UK's restriction ... starting today, all restrictions are lifted. You do not need to wear a mask, or show a vaccine passport to go anywhere. The English chap that they were just interviewing said those restrictions were lifted for larger crowded areas which include football games or nightclubs for example. Can't see why restaurants wouldn't be included in that. Their case numbers have dwindled in the last couple of weeks. So have ours ... but we are still in lockdown until at least till the middle of February
