Loved his music and played it since high school remember the old 8 track in my chevelle :)
Every time he plays locally still we try to go , mrs loves his music also This summer in Dominion we went . He is just a quiet guy like the rest of us :) and so down to earth. Boarded his horse and rode it for years right behind my house on Jimmy's track. Love his music and still has a ton of energy at age of 75. Still lives I think in town on main street in a old home the size of 682bubba's but could be wrong
He is my 88 year old moms facebook friend and talk to her some times leave it to ma she says he kept his horse in dominion for a while and would walk it past the house and she would talk to him that is how they met and if you knew ma I would say that is 100% true. She would talk to the devil
Cheers

A teenage hangout in late 70's early 80s was on Charlotte street called "Moe's " Now Daniels ) they played a lot of Minglewood songs back in the day . Even in my younger yrs in the clubs and bars heard many a Minglewood tune , even out working about and one those songs come up , I give the stereo a crank up just a tad bit 😂😂😂😂
Hell yeah lol
I’ve heard minglewood a couple times on the south shore radio recently. They oughta play it more often

Sam Moon played at Smooth Herman’s in Sydney a lot talked to him a few times
Met Myles Goodwin and couple of the Henmen’s ( April Wine ) and Randy Bachman from BTO when they played at the Misty Moon. Also met Hank Snow once.
Personally like 60 and 70s music more then 80’s. The Guess Who would be Canada’s #1 best ever rock band !
My favourite stuff is from the 70s although I like 50s-90s. Outlaw country fan mainly, been through the progressive rock/ rocknroll phases pink Floyd etc still love them too

Yes Waylon love him and no I did not let my babies grow up to be cowboys!
Good hearted woman would be my fav Waylon tune!
Gave up his seat on the plane cause Big Bopper was feeling ill, well that was the night music died (Buddy Holly and others ) but not Waylon
Lots of good country , country rock out there
Like Billy Strings lol awesome on the guitar!
See ya I’m heading down COPPER HEAD RD
Mine fav from Waylon would be I’ve always been crazy and are you sure hand done it this way
Pretty much everything he sang he nailed, IMO he’s under appreciated compared to JC, I love Johnny too though very fun to sing along to his stuff

Music can be relaxing and rejuvenating very. Good when feeling stressed. If you see an old guy driving a Tacoma radio blasting and singing American woman or No sugar tonite it’s likely me but of course it could be anything from Deep Purple to Hank Snow.
One great song you seldom here anymore but should esp the Gordon Lightfoots rendition , originally by the Irish Rovers I think
The sun was setting in the west
The birds were singing on every tree
All nature seemed inclined for a rest
But still there was no rest for me
So many great songs

Play it all the time.
Winter is coming so the guitar will be out every day/ evening til fishing season
ive always been very in touch with music since I was a teen. Been into so many genres and artists of different decades. There aren’t many songs I don’t know anymore but the song pool is massive and once in awhile I’ll come across a gem I haven’t heard before in the rabbit hole of YouTube recommendations

Here’s one for you see if you know song title and artist it’s old

Well everything’s a changing as the days go rolling by
Believe I’m getting old and I know I soon must die
Always riding boxcars forever on the roam
Where’er I hang my hat to me is home sweet home
Had to search that one don’t believe I’d heard before, thanks!
