Hunting dog trainer

Hi there,
I am new to this forum.
I've got a rescue hunting dog, which I brought from abroad during a job relocation. She had most probably abuse history before we found her.
She has a strong prey drive ( I don't hunt though) and is hard to train with my basic knowledge of dog training.
I am looking for a recommendation for a trainer who has an experience with such a condition in the Halifax region.

You didn't mention the breed, there's a few local clubs for different breeds and everyone involved would be more than happy to help you with the basics.

It's a Bruno Jura hound.

I can help with the training for bunnies as I have beagles, 3 actually, and all are hunters.
We can start with some basic search strategies I use with pups and then we can make a plan for further training.
