The HWWA due to some unknown reason will be having our Range Day at the Stanley Range on April 10th not the 16th. So for those planning on attending please take note of the change. April 10th from 9 am to 5 pm Stanley Range.

The Strange reason is as soon as I mentioned it on this site, somebody booked the range, the exact same times as we do.Funny A . So we booked the range and then announced it. Thats why there is a change. I heard about the change yesterday.

thinking about 12 or so showed up - we packed up around 1 - 130 I think.
the only one that seemed to mind the rain was the electronics on one of the throwers.

glad I went - been a while since I had that much powder residue on the face. lol.

I believe Stephen calls this one Easter Bunny Blast I refer to it more like the Swamp Bunny Shoot. The rain though it never really let up was not being driven by wind. The people who were there the youngest I believe was 11 so along with the BBQ I thought the day went fairly well. We all busted a few targets and Gary had a few rounds off with his "smoke pole". We hope to have another by July and as most know June 12th is our Major Hunter Ed, Stanley Range day.
I have all the gear we used at this range day up and being dried as for the electric trap machine it was the clays sticking together causing the problem. the other foot operated one is a great asset to our club. Great job one and all, ain't nothin' like a day at the range.

Hi Mike...just a FYI...Ross delivered all the ammo to me on Saturday for the up coming June 12 HWWA hunters education course. Rifle Range now has lots..223, 17HMR, 22LR...shotgun stations have a case ea of 12 ga and 20 ga target loads.
I mentioned the youth pheasant hunt to him again for the fall and he'll be supporting it once again with a couple of flats of steel ammo. I'll pick that up when we go to Fredericton in August for the 2 day Browning Classic Sporting Clay shoot !

Can't wait... It's not very far away now...cuz lately, time sure seems to be flying by !
