All,

I'd like to request some assistance in identifying some scat that's near my stand. I think it may be bear but the main time I see bear scat it's black and separated.

Photos are below:

I'm also trying to work out the age / sex of the deer that's left these tracks about 30yds away from my house. They're 3 inches long with a 2½ spread in the hoof print.

I'm thinking it's a 3½ - 4½ year old buck but would like some expert opinions.

Thanks in advance for the help and happy hunting. 11 days to go :D

Looks like bear or coyote - any hair in it ??

Looks more like bear to me though.

Hard to tell with the deer tracks - rule of thumb I use is blunt tipped means buck - from making scrapes - pointy are does usually but I am sure that is not always the case.

Thanks guys. Going back out on Friday and hoping it's still green, meaning porcupine and not bear. If porcupine then providing the little shit hasn't pissed on the apple pile I should be OK.

Will update after Friday.
