This does seem to be a very popular thread with over 18000 views.

Thanks for looking and maybe I can help you out in the future.

Keep checking in as I have a couple bears and a few deer heads that are just finishing up.

Few firsts for me this season tanned a couple sheep skins and a caribou hide. Never thought that caribou hair was that thick and soft.

125 lbs .
Bear has been mounted for over a year but no display branch completed.
The branch has been a long process to complete.

I want to give a big thanks to Rasorbackq for mounting my moose and helping me set it in place, looks great. Sorry for the lousy pic, taken with a phone and the light was washing it out.

Pretty much everything on that wall is his work.

When I first met Crankypants he told me one day he hoped to hang a moose head at his camp. Less then 12 years later it there.

Last week he mentions a caribou head would look nice on that spot .........

Just posting a couple pics of my 2016 Harvest that Rasorbackq recently completed for me, the pictures do not do justice on how well it looks in person and it was not the best of lighting. Thanks for the great job!

The bottom mount is 15 years old and done by a local in the lunenburg county area.

With hunting season just around the corner it might be a great time to ask your questions WRT taxidermy and prep for that trophy you harvest. Its really too late if you get an animal down and then realize you should get it mounted. . A few minutes now may save that trophy.

You are so right on that one. This poor guy ( 2nd pic) took out my grill on the truck and then I ran him over with a back tire. I could not believe they could do anything with him. Not great for sure but if you could have seen it before

Cheers

The other guy that was done was much better

Last bird mount completed for Bigbuck 152 Not as nice as the last roadkill . It was Bigbucks idea to mount the barred owl on the skull .
Another roadkill found by him.
The skull was all bleached out so I cheated and just painted it as well recolored the antlers.
