Gonna sound like a broken record but, everything about this cull is unethical. The writer's number of $775,000 is not accurate either. It is north of $1,000,000 of tax payer dollars. Something that could have been done via draw hunt and generate revenue is instead, costing us 11 to 12 grand per moose. How's that for expensive meat for ya lol?

Given the extensive helicopter use, it makes one wonder if some moose were "nudged" from outside the park boundary to inside the study area where they could be killed.
Ms. Courage,

There is no need to "...nudge the moose back into the Park".

They are using Mi'kmaq to kill the moose...and the Mi'kmaq are not subject to the provincial game laws which are intent on instituting the ethic of 'fair chase'.

The Mi'kmaq can kill the moose whenever and where ever they see them...inside the Park (with Parks Canada's approval), or outside the Park.

The 'Russell Decision' is the public justification...The 'no-boundaries' practicality is the reason . ;)

IMHO
