Picked up a handgun at Bass pro a couple weeks ago. Got my Registration Certificate in the mail the other day. Is this what i have to have to go to the gun range or do i need a ATT. Confused getting different answers. Tried to contact Firearm office in Halifax but can only leave a message. Thanks for any help.

No it’s just the registration certificate you need an ATT if you called N.S. firearms office and left a message they will call you back tomorrow. Never had to wait any longer for them to call back

Tripple D. Is a ATT only needed to take a restricted firearm say, to a gun smith? Or is the registration certificate a ATT it self? Thanks. I had sent a email to the firearm office but instead of emailing me they called my home phone telling me to call back which i did, but can only leave a message.
