After years of passing up a Winchester 356 due to no ammo I picked one up in mint condition a few years ago, scoped, case and ammo $900. A home load 180 grain, very very accurate and loads of power. Can be loaded to 250 grain. I got to say it has become a real favorite. The rest of the guys in the gun locker are pissed especially my 308 expresses and 307's.:)

This year for bear number one…Ruger M77 MK II composite/stainless in .270, if I go for my supplemental, I will be looking at close range with the 30-30.

Deer, Remington 700 composite in .243

If I am fortunate to go for moose this year I will try out my Browning A bolt synthetic in 7mm Rem Mag :)
