Habs have been in trouble all season. No goaltending and a ton of injuries. Will the Laffs win the cup ??? Will the Laffs finally win a series ???? They will never win the cup, and I would never bet money that the Laffs would make it out of the first round. They beat themselves every year. They have the talent, but choke in the end. I expect a first round exit this year, but the Lightning are struggling as of late, so who knows. Totally different season once the playoffs start. I also expect the Presidents Trophy winner Booins, to make a first round exit as well. Carolina has been my pick to win it all. We'll see.

I don't know about that DDD. Over 21,000 people was at the Habs / Caps game the other night. 2 teams going nowhere. It's been 30 years since the cup was in Canada. It's also been 30 years since Bettman became commissioner. Its been 30 years since Pro Line Betting started. Coincidence ??? Not a freaking chance !!! Oilers had winning teams over the years. Leafs have had a cup winning team the last few years. A few Canadian teams have gone deep in the playoffs over the last 30 years. Always coming up short. Now with all the new betting sites and the piss poor officiating... gonna be many years before the cup comes north of the border ... or at least until Bettman steps away.

I used to be obsessed with it. Played a lot in my younger days. Now I watch the odd game throughout the season, but watch a lot of playoff hockey. Hockey has changed. I like the fact that it's faster but it won't be long before fighting and body checking is gone from the NHL ... which is now being dubbed as the No Hit LeaguePeople still watch hockey?
Funny and sad at the same time! My father was a Leafs fan but eventually didn't talk about them at all. Just watched for the love of the game itself.

There has been 146 mass shootings so far in 2023, in the US. Why is it, that only a handful ever make it on MSM ??? Bottom line, Biden or any president of the US will never bring in a gun ban on these types of rifles. IMO ... it would be a death sentence for any president to do so.
Just another note, there are a lot of things going on in the US and around the world to take the focus off of what's really going on. I'm still waiting for Epstein's list to be made public. Maybe they'll wait till after the playoffs.

Big frigging deal! When you have more than one mass shooting a day on average news can only report on the big events. Sad that they have come to accept this is normal and many politicians only perpetuate the problem.
I am genuinely worried that the US will implode before long! IMO they are on the brink and getting closer all the time. Half their politicians are useless and the other half are so obviously crooked and many of both are practically as bad and the Nazis when you take a minute to look closely. Their civil rights and level of caring for each other are both eroding constantly. Not good. Especially when we share the border with them.
Glad you think so Must be why I have friends retired from the military with a military pension working at macdonalds down there to keep a bit of food on the table one was an air craft mechanic in the gulf war and my brother just paid 900 K US or 1.2 million CD for his home in ky and like he said just a rancher on an acre nothing fancy like he just sold in Ohio poor guy doesn't even have a pool this time or a basketball courtAmericans still have it good. If I had of moved to Idaho as planned and got cancer there vs here I would be homeless now100% One needle I took was 5000 bucks a shot and I took quite a few and one appointment I had in the US was almost 25K and it was just an appointment for the most part with some basic testsI will take canada any day and unlike many I have the option to move back to the us with no issue but never will I know where the grass is the greenest no matter what some think Way more to life than guns and few countries are better than canada to live in today and the US is not one of them Canada is ranked no. 3 which is not bad at all in the world to live in

I think they pick and choose which ones to put on national news … the ones that will fit best with their agenda. A few weeks ago … there was a shooting and one person died and 10 injured.
