Now we are going down memory lane. When I was around fifteen take a year or two either way… approximately fifty years ago my mom called the Maytag Repair Man to fix either her washer or dryer. He came out of the basement and told my mom, “I saved you the cost of a new part. I just soldered up the contact points on the timer and it should last you awhile”. I think she sold those machines with the house so the repair lasted a fair amount of time.

3macs1 when it comes to hauling heavy stuff out of the woods or around your property you need to find and rebuild yourself a portable winch you can hook up to your truck. Make sure it has a remote so you can guide the load as you go!

That’ll work. Cool.

Yet, if you had a winch in the bed of your truck you could drive all over good ole C.B. collecting old Maytag parts and then be known as the New Maytag repair man for old Maytags. If you collect enough parts you may even have a good reason to build a another garage!😋
