I want to cry right now. Like why anyone would do this to a snowblower even worse a honda snowblower
If not on the other end of the province I would bring the poor thing home and at least part it before there is nothing usable electric start and power chute to make it even worse which was very rare on these early 828

Well the old mrs has been giving me hell for sending a few hundred dollars out west to a phone number and a first name for those washer parts and not a word since and a week passed . You are a fool she says no worse a old stupid fool
Not like it is your money so why do you care I say so I contacted him yesterday and he apologizes and says here is the tracking number I'm sorry I forgot to send that to you and I checked and the package is 1/2 way here so there MAMA see I told you there is still some good honest people out there that their word still means something
That being said I didnot tell her he is also retired 5 years from may tag old school and 70 years old :p which IMO is huge when it comes to who I will trust with my money. Like it or not have never been scammed by an old fart so far

I hate paying for something by EMT, from across the country. All boils down to trust. I paid $2000 for a rifle a while back, and you're crossing fingers and toes until it gets here. This was Gunpost. I never do business with anyone unless they have a good trader rating. No ratings ... no business.... which is unfair to the new guys posting stuff for sale. Gotta start somewhere, but there is so much scamming now, you have to be vigilant. Pretty much everyday on Fakebook ... you hear of scams on market place. A couple of years ago, (on gunpost) ... there was a shotgun that the price was very reasonable... almost too reasonable... and the buddy's user name was something I couldn't pronounce. (Different nationality), and he had 4 or 5, five star ratings. Problem is ... these ratings and him joining gunpost was all within a week. The ratings came from people with the same type of user names. It just didn't seem right to me, so I didn't even bother. Maybe it was me being paranoid or stereotyping, ... but it raised a red flag for me. $50 or so ... no big deal, but when you're talking thousands, it's a lot of money to get scammed out of. Thankfully, most are honest people.

Agree with you 100% I am not even set up for it and have to ask mama when I do send one which is huge issues there :p:p
Sorry but I trust few when it comes to selling firearms and agree trader rating is everything to me and sorry but gun post not for this Joe But to each their own there
That being said I have never bought a gun not even one EMT yep I offer a canada post money order and if that is no good I walk and most are OK with that and say send the money order

Two reasons if it gets lost or damaged and you have a claim done which was four guns for me ZERO BS when you try to get the insurance and they ask well do you have receipts of what you paid Sure do I paid this as per your money order number 59865776
The second is a money order forces the seller to give you a compete mailing address which I then search to see if the dude is real normally link it to a phone number and see if it all matches That saved me at least three times with scammers
Not bullet proof by any means but for me better than a emt

I think you were absolutely right to walk away! I've risked sending about $50 to a guy I never met and that had no online presence but more than that no way!

My wife was selling something on Kijiji before Christmas. Someone said I want it. Great. Then the BS scam started. The person said I don't have the cash but I have a transfer but can't get to my bank branch. So I'll give you the transfer and you give me the difference back. Wife said no effing way, but nicer if course. Then reported it to the cops!!
