It was nice today. If you could get in the Sun and out of the Wind, it it was good. CTV weather forecast is 5 to 15 cm for most of the mainland and 20 to 30 cm for Cape Breton. We are supposed to change over the rain. Be a mess for sure

I love the weather networks method of forecasting. Put a big storm warning on then in the actual local forecast it says 2-4cm and ~1mm showers. What kind of storm is that? Make up your mind. Then other forecasts still say 20cm coming. Lol

The only guarantee is we are getting something at sometime.

Right now in the Bridgewater area …. Wet snow/rain mix. Just enough snow to make the ground white. According to the radar … it will change to all rain in an hour. A far cry from what the weather network was calling for … and a really far cry from Frankie MacDonalds forecast of 100 cm of snow.

This is the first time I remember them giving accumulation totals for over a couple of days. I think that's the only way they can make this storm seem anywhere near the hype.
Having said that, it is supposed to be very high winds through the eastern part of the province and CB.

Oh no! They have moved on to the Covid method of weather reporting! I will be on the lookout for 800 cm of snow spread out over the next 3 years.....;)

Came up to the city for the old man's second round of chemo a day early just to be safe. Glad I did as it was snowing heavily around supper time. Appears to have turned to rain for now. We met up with my son at Dal. His mom had ordered him some more new clothes and he had picked up a couple bottles of hard to find Irish whiskeys that were not available at our NSLC (both sides of the trade were with his parents money, of course) so a swap was made!

The weather network, a site you go to see video clips, more ads than should be allowed, and pictures of birds and flowers oh and weather that is over sensationalized out of date and wrong 99.99% of the time.
They used to have have a feedback feature on their website but stopped it...must not have liked the feedback they were getting 😀
