She's talking about a baked ham next week...been another while for one of those too !

Funny you say that as i just took a ham out for tomorrow. Add a pan of scalloped potatoes and the last of my garden peas and groan getting up.

My little and i will be making beef stew and carrot cake for tonight. Hes starting to learn how to cook and take care of his own needs to survive on his own.

I just finished the last of my Corned beef and cabbage …. Unfortunately… the Bushmills bottle is empty… and the Tullamore Dew bottle is nearing empty. I see a liquor run very soon.

How did you like the Tullamore Dew? I have yet to try it, however, it is on my short list along with The Sexton, and Teeling.

Tullamore Dew is quite smooth.… but still prefer the Bushmills. Two craft ice cubes only.… no water. They are very slow melting and melt just enough to ”take the edge off”.

I have whiskey stones but I rarely use them. Neat is the way to go for me. I'm telling you BM, if you try Redbreast 12, you will want only it forever!

3 weeks ago there were 2 in Bridgewater, 1 in Sydney and 47 at the Port in Halifax. The Port store was down to 3, I think yesterday. I got scared when it got down to 15 and had my son grab me one, as it's hard to get your hands on.

They are only showing three at the port and one in Antigonish. I will keep an eye on the website to see if anyone gets some in stock closer to me.

When you do try it, try it neat. You won't be disappointed. The smoothest I have ever had and great flavour!
Another good option is to try a neat glass of it at a pub near you prior to buying a whole bottle.

Google the reviews on whiskey jug and you can match up how it scores against some more familiar ones.
I like whiskey, but not Scotch so much as I am not a fan of the smoky peat taste.
