Is it just me or is there an increase in the number of fatalities occurring with ATV recently. Seems to me the side by sides are just as dangerous as the four wheelers. Maybe the increase with reports comes with the nice summer weather . I grew up with the introduction of the three wheeler and remember many incidents of them flipping over from front to back. Ouch!!

Is that the intersection not far from the Superstore? Bridge street and Highway 1?
If so, that's a bad one. I damm near got hit there on my E bike a couple years ago! My fault. Quite a bit of traffic there and its often moving fairly fast. And I found out the cars were not inclined to treat the trail crossing like a crosswalk.

A 27-year-old man is dead after an ATV crash in Cape Breton on Sunday.
I hate hearing things like this. So unnecessary. Accidents happen of course. But my impression is that often with atvs and snowmobiles the accidents are caused by speed and/or drinking.
