Still missing something seems fishy. How far could a 4 yr old go and wouldn’t the diaper have fallen off somewhere by now? The mother when interviewed seemed calm cool and collected no hysteria not crying, why would she leave and go “ live with family “ elsewhere, I would think the mother would be right there waiting and hoping for any news. Ffs if it were my kids I’d be looking myself as would my wife. Something sure doesn’t seem right. Hopefully I’m totally wrong and they find them very soon !

It does seem odd that 2 very small children could get very far on their own in a short time.

I looked on a map to see if there is a lake or river right there. Didn't look like it, but it doesn't take much water to be a problem either.

As you say, hopefully they are found alive and OK soon. I suspect the worst but hope for the best outcome.

All those people combing the area. Dogs not picking up a trail and thermal drones not hitting on anything..No clothing found ....Something is definitely up here.

This story just sickens me right to the core. As time quickly passes, so does the hope. It's fading more and more. Been praying for them little kids to be found safe ! That's three kids now in a very short period of time gone missing...last one a drowning with no recovery yet tmk ! Heart wrenching it is !!

My kids, my grand kids, any one else's kids that come to the house have always been the brightest part of my / our lives !
I can't even begin to fathom this kind of tragedy in one's life. So many stories floating around, the worst of the worst scenarios too. So many theories, but, hopefully the truth and the facts come forward soon.
Leave the unfounded accusations and interweb malarky out !

Search is now being scaled back by days end , RCMP will look at how to go forward with Major Crimes also investigating , there is more than what was told in press briefing today . One Mountie had to choke back tears trying answer questions . One small boot track was found but nothing else after a exhaustive search of that area and another Mountie stated about how the landscape shows all the taggings on the trees show how extensive search crews have scoured the landscape from the air .

i really did not have very good feeling about this from the start , being on searches in the past after the 3 day window time lines start to go down alone on survival depending on how well clothed & now into day 5 does not hold well IMHO

Definitely very sad and we may never know the whole truth. I don’t think they just wondered off let’s face a four and a six year old won’t travel too awful far esp through a wooded area like that. Should have been found within a day imo especially since you could bet they would both be crying when they couldn’t find their way home. Not sure what happened in those early hours. Something about this whole situation stinks. We all ( society as a whole) must look after
all children at all costs.

i don't think they would have got too far either, if the woods there are like here, it is very tough going with the woods here because of Hurricane Fiona

Thank you! One thing I forgot to mention
is the fact that even in a lot of cases experienced hunters/ woodsmen go into unfamiliar area with no path to follow quite often end up walking in circles so how would you apply that fact to two small children ? I would think they would do the same only more apt to be a somewhat smaller circle which is one of the reasons I thought they should have been found rather quickly.

Perhaps never thought of that but would mean the kids are ok. I would imagine the cops thought of that and are watching. I think the cops know a lot more than their telling the media

I hearsay from the rumor mill yesterday that their father is in jail ?? Not sure if there's any truth to it...but if it is so, then there goes a small straw of hope some were grasping on to...me also.:cry:🙏🙏

Step Dad says they need fly someone in for polygraph AND no equipment available , NOT so RCMP HQ has the Equipment and a Certified personal to do such testing , every hiring in law Enforcement goes for one and usually travels to RCMP HQ in HRM .
This I am 100% positive such equipment and personal are in the Province . This whole thing just stinks . New baby 16-18 months old , his 2 older kids from previous marriage , her 2 kids missing , she blocks him on social media and all contact . His family ordered searchers and police off their property .
old single wide with heavy sliding door & one minute one version , next minute alternating version and neither side tells same details .
i feel bad for all those searching , resources and money spent to find these kids in a bad situation that does not seem to have a positive outcome and most importantly the safety of the kids themselves , really need to tighten down the screws on the parents and anyone who had contact that week . Not mention teachers confirmed they were not in school since previous Monday but yet older kids were in school .
