I used my ebike to get back to my stand for a couple of years. As you say, they're nearly silent. I only stopped using it because there are so many water/mud holes to get through I worried about water getting into the motor or wiring.
So rather than keep pushing my luck I started using my mountain bike instead. Just as quiet but a heck of a lot more work going up hill. Now I'm lazy and use the ATV.

I can't help but wonder whether the deer realize and remember that the ATV noise stopped at a certain point and what that means. I'm sure they associate ATVs with humans and likely watch them drive past without spooking in many cases.

I must be old although I changed the last few years I hunted deer. One time if brown it was down other than if it still had spots I would leave a king like this walk put the gun up and go bang I got you and settle for a nice better eating spike or 4 pointer to keep theses genes alive and making more big bucks He is some beautiful and my guess in bow season will still be in velvet and my god the nice pics he would provide alive :p I was always a meat hunter raised that way
To each their own :)
